Daniel Korski

Daniel Korski, born in Denmark in 1977 to a Polish emigrant family, is a renowned British-Danish entrepreneur, former diplomat, think tank expert, and author. Educated at the London School of Economics and the University of Cambridge, he has a diverse background in business, politics, and philanthropy.

Korski's career spans multiple continents, including Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the US, the Middle East, and Europe. He began working in post-war Bosnia under UN envoy Lord Paddy Ashdown and later moved to UK Parliament and the FCDO with postings in Afghanistan, the US, and Iraq. He also served as a strategic advisor to EU High Representative Lady Catherine Ashton.

In the UK, Korski was a senior policy advisor and deputy head of the Number 10 Policy Unit under Prime Minister David Cameron from 2013 to 2016, shaping policies on international students, digital innovation, and the UK's EU stance.

In 2017, he founded PUBLIC, a company driving digital transformation in government services, and has invested in several early-stage startups. Korski's political engagement includes serving on panels such as the Digital Economy Council, HealthTech Advisory Panel, and Freeport Advisory Panel, and he campaigned for Tom Tugenhat's Conservative Party leadership bid in 2024. He also pursued the Conservative Party nomination for London mayor in 2024.

Fluent in Danish, English, French, and Swedish, Korski was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2016. He is actively involved in Jewish community leadership, serving as vice president of the Jewish Leadership Council in 2023, chairing the Welcoming Committee for Hong Kongers, and sitting on the board of the Jewish Museum in London. He also established Forgotten Exodus, an online archive for Jewish testimonies from Poland in the 1960s.
